  • DSRT Surf is North America's largest surf lagoon, powered by Wavegarden technology and located in Palm Desert, California. Whether you're a first-time surfer or a seasoned pro, there's a wave and a whole lot more waiting for you.

  • We're in Palm Desert, California, in the heart of the Coachella Valley.

  • Not at all. We welcome guests of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced surfers. If you're just starting out, our coaching programs will get you on a wave faster than you think.

  • Yes. DSRT Surf is open to the public; no membership is required.

  • Absolutely. A beach pass gets you access to the grounds so you can hang out, watch the action, and take in the scene. A full-service restaurant is also coming soon.

  • Quite a bit. DSRT Surf has pickleball, a skate area, a resort pool, and a jacuzzi, so even if the waves aren't calling you, there's plenty to keep you busy.

  • Water stations are located throughout the venue, and we have shaded areas as well as air-conditioned spaces to cool down when you need a break from the sun.

  • The lagoon is not artificially heated. Water temperature naturally fluctuates throughout the year with the seasons.

THE EXPERIENCE

  • Yes to both. DSRT Surf is fully accessible, and we offer adaptive surfing programming for guests of all abilities.

  • Children are welcome. There's no minimum age to visit the venue. Age and size requirements to surf are still being finalized and will vary by wave type.

  • Service animals are welcome. Personal pets are not permitted on the grounds.

  • Yes, we are a cashless venue. All transactions are handled digitally.

  • Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue.

GROUPS & EVENTS

  • Absolutely. Private bookings are one of the things we do best. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale corporate experience.

  • We host a wide range: corporate team-building days and client entertainment, brand activations and product launches, birthday and milestone celebrations, bachelorette and bachelor weekends, family reunions, and retreat-style incentive trips. If the goal is to bring a group together around something genuinely memorable, this is the place.

  • Group packages start at 10 guests and scale upward. For a full buyout, we can accommodate up to 3500 guests across the water and event spaces combined. 

    • Private session: Your group gets dedicated wave time and instruction in a reserved lane, alongside other guests at the venue.

    • Group package: A curated experience that bundles wave time, instruction, food and beverage, and access to specific areas — tailored to your group size and goals.

    • Full buyout: Exclusive use of the entire lagoon and venue. No other guests on site. Full creative control over programming, branding, entertainment, and flow. This is the format for marquee events, brand activations, and large celebrations.

  • Yes, celebrations are one of our most requested event types. Whether it's a landmark birthday, a bachelorette weekend, or a 'just because' group experience.

  • We do. Group packages for social gatherings start at 10 guests and can be customized to include instruction at multiple skill levels, food and drink, and reserved lounge or cabana space.

  • Yes. A full buyout gives you exclusive access to the wave, the surrounding venue spaces, and all amenities for the duration of your event. No other guests. No shared experience.

  • A buyout includes exclusive lagoon access, programmed waive settings, surf coaches and lifeguards, surfboards and wetsuits, pool deck and cabanas and dedicated event captain.
